At Access Distributed, we believe all people, no matter what they look like or where they come from, should have access to high-potential careers.

OUR MISSION

Access Distributed expands access to careers in finance for undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds.

Why Access Distributed?

Entry-level jobs in core business areas such as finance, entrepreneurship and consulting often go to people who look the same, come from the same schools and have the same life experiences as people who are already in those jobs. It’s a cycle that’s been hard to break.

Our goal is to improve diversity in finance by evening the recruiting playing field for students from non-target schools and underrepresented backgrounds.

Target vs Non-Target Schools:

What is the AD Fellowship?

The AD fellowship is an extracurricular program alongside students’ fall and spring classes. It is designed to help fellows gain the skills, connections and real-world experience to successfully enter a high-potential, foundational career.

Who is AD for?

AD focuses on expanding access for undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds. Specifically, AD fellows are diverse and/or first-generation college students who attend a non-target school.

The fellowship program is an intense, year-long experience designed to give you a leg up in entering the finance industry. With the exception of one mandatory in-person bootcamp, the entire AD fellowship is conducted remotely, using technology leveraged by distributed teams.
